Lifting refers to the segment which handles the removed earth from excavation or any material which requires bulk handling. Excavation refers to any man-made cut, cavity, trench or depression in the earth's surface formed by earth removal. There are more than 50 products in this category. The equipment is mostly classified on the basis of its end applications like earth-moving, mining, construction, and material handling and there are about 15 major global players like Caterpillar, Volvo Construction Equipment, Komatsu, Doosan, and JCB  in this segment.

 Flatness and adherence to TDC are extremely important for this segment and the processing line should have the capability of ensuring flatness and removing residual stresses to enable plasma/laser cutting.
