In the face of growing demand for consumer durables like consumer electronic goods and refrigerators, the government is supporting the development of a manufacturing base and encouraging exports. Also, given the relatively low penetration of consumer appliances, production incentives, and 100% FDI in the sector, this is a sunrise segment. High-end flat steel is the critical input here, and we are well placed to cater to the segment's growing needs.
