Looking high tensile Aluzinc sheet for switchgear panel manufacturing
I am looking for an equivalent for EN10327-DX51D-Z275 equivalent in TATA steel products . Application if for enclosures in C3 & C5 environment . Advice on choosing powder coating vs paint is also appreciated . I have selected Steelium for CRCA sheet IS513- CR2 Grade -D and equivalent ASTM - A1008 - DQ type A . Please confirm my understanding .

Hi, Galvano branded Zero Spangle product basket consists of EN10327-DX51D-Z275 equivalent grade. However, please also mention the type of post-treatment required. Powder coating is preferred over wet-painting, due to enhanced finish and durability of the coating. EN10327-DX51D-Z275 is a Hot-Dip Coated steel grade, the CR equivalent for that grade can be IS513- CR2 wrt chemical composition, where IS513- CR2 is having comparatively stricter norms.

1 & 2. The minimum production thickness for Galvano Branded Zero Spangle Sheets is 0.40mm 3. We do not produce Galvanized Sheets with thickness 0.15mm 4. Hot-dipping galvanized sheet is produced via a batch process wherein steel sheets are dipped in zinc-bath to achieve desired galvanized coating over steel surface. However, this process has disadvantages like - Irregular coating thickness, Improper after-coating surface finish, High possibility of improper coating adhesion Galvano Branded Zero Spangle Sheets on the other hand are produced via specialized continuous production lines wherein the CR Steel strip gets galvanized and coating thicknesses, mechanical properties and surface finish are also controlled via automatic processes.
